More details have been released about some of the prizes that are on offer for the supporter who brings in the most fans for the Chesterfield game.

7) Be Sponsored

Now we've said it before, and we'll keep saying it. If you're the Super Fan, then you'll be a bonafide member of the squad. You have your shirt number, you'll have the chance to run out and milk the applause of the Dale support, and you'll be taking your pride of place on the club's official 2008-9 team photograph. You'll even be forced to call Keith Hill "gaffer" for the year.

But it goes beyond there. You'll be listed in the matchday programme on the Players Sponsorship page along with all the other players.

Which in effect means that despite having raised a load of revenue for the club in the first place, you get the chance to earn even more because you will be available to be sponsored for both home and away kits like the rest of the first team squad.

8) The Super Fan Throne

Now you wouldn’t expect a Super Fan to have to pay to get into Spotland would you? Not a fan who had brought so many extra supporters to the club, and therefore generated so much extra funds.

So as part of the package, the winning Super Fan will be able to get a Season Ticket for Dale for the 2008-9 season absolutely free of charge. That’s free entry to every League game for the 2008-9 season, even if the unthinkable happened and we end up playing in a higher division.

 And we’re not talking about giving away our cheapest season ticket. You can have your season ticket for any home area of the ground, whether it be Sandy Lane, Pearl Street or Main Stand. You get to choose your season ticket for wherever you like in the ground.

 But it doesn’t stop there. If you as the winning supporter opt to choose your season ticket in a seated part of the ground, then it shall become yours for the season. Your seat will be have its very own plaque proclaiming your Super Fan status

 Consider it like your very own Super Fan throne!

 So, fancy any of that?  If so you know the rules by now. You get yourself a book of vouchers next week, stick your name and address on the back of each of the vouchers then start doing your best to talk as many of your friends and family to come to Spotland for the Chesterfield game. The winner will be the supporter who brings in the largest number of fans.

 You might want to target a member of the “once a season” brigade, that lapsed supporter who swore he'd never go again during the Barrow era or perhaps a Premiership supporter who lives in the town but would normally be at Old Trafford that day.

These are people who have a genuine interest in football, who given the right persuasion could come down to Spotland and discover / re-discover the bug that has brought us back to Spotland time after time after time.
