Jack Hobbs set for Hull City loan switch
Jack Hobbs set for Hull City loan switch

Are we going to shoot ourselves in the foot again? Last season DJ Campbell moved temporarily to Blackpool and without him, they would still be a championship side. But for the second season running Leicester are letting a top championship player move to another play-off hunting club.

Today, Sunday, BBC Radio Humberside revealed that tomorrow Hobbs will join up with his former manager Nigel Pearson at Hull. This would mean Hull have three ex-Leicester players in their match day squad. Matty Fryatt has hit the ground running at the KC stadium and the Tigers league position can be owed much to their new signing.

Hobbs has made 114 appearances for us over the past two and a half years and is hotly tipped for a bright future in English football but now it seems he is surplus to requirements at the Walkers stadium. I was one of the fans extremely disappointed to see Michael Morrison leave at such a small price and now watching what seems to be the beginning of the end of Jacks Leicester career it’s just disappointing.

I just hope Sven stays long-term because, if we were to lose him, we would be in quite a kafuffle in terms of players under actual contracts and also players being disillusioned with the numerous loan replacements.
