If you pay monthly by direct debit, then you have more control if you think you might end up cancelling.

Best wishes Enfield. Hope you're back at Loftus Road in August for our Championship campaign, under Marti, with a new goalkeeper and better strikers.

Speculation from me too but maybe it's about bonuses. He could still be getting some payments if he was available at Newcastle, which may be more than any bonuses that we offer.

His best game for a very long time. A huge improvement on Friday, when he looked very nervy and indecisive.

Well done Asmir and let's make that the standard for the last six.

Country
at 09:34 1 Apr 2024

This thread just can't go on any longer without a mention of Johnny Cash.
I grew up living blues and rock, Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy, Graham Parker etc. I didn't really like country (& western) but I always liked Johnny Cash.
Then cames the American Records Series. The stripped down sound of Cash country produced by Rick Rubin and featuring such classics as 'Hurt' and 'The Beast in Me'.
All of a sudden I was learning and listening to more country. I discovered the amazing Rodney Crowell, John Hiatt, Whiskeytown, Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo, Calexico, Albert Lee and many more. Among radio shows I now listen too is Ralph McClean Country from Northern Ireland and available on BBC sounds. He plays some great music.
I still don't like big hats and hyped up hoo ha ha or whatever, but when the artist is a little different like Margo Cilker or Iris de Ment it's up there with the best in blues and rock for me.

Former Rs Players today

The one by Colback was a yellow all day long. One of his stupid 'red mist' moments after he had been knocked over and was denied a foul (it wasn't). I think he was probably also a bit annoyed at only being a sub.

It wasn't a great ball by Cooke but I thought that Begovic made a meal if it, should have got to it much quicker. Agree with you on all the rest though.

Well it won't be with us.

His decision making very suspect, very nervy, confidence eroding by the week. Thank goodness we now have a bit of a cushion, ease a little of the nerves for Begovic and all the squad.

The terrific trio
at 12:56 26 Mar 2024

I think we'll start with Frey. They've had two weeks to work with most of the squad. Dykes has been away and maybe Armstrong too with the U21s?
I think Marti prefers Sinclair off the bench as well as away from home. We've got five games in the next sixteen days, so any that have been away are likely to be rested or on the bench.

Fixture pile up
at 08:54 23 Mar 2024

Ludicrous. If the authorities don't extend the season and serious injuries occur due to this schedule, there could be legal cases.
If this goes badly and they get lots of injured players, they could have to cancel games through lack of numbers or players will have pressure on them to play when less than fit to do so.

This is virtually back to back with the Easter fixtures.
We have five games in sixteen days with three of them involving 3 hour + journeys!
That is a crazy schedule. I'm suddenly very concerned about the end of our season.
