Lincoln Preview

Swans Look To Make It Six Unbeaten

The Swans will be looking to make it six unbeaten as they head to Sincil Bank tomorrow, looking to potentially increase the lead over 6th place Lincoln into something insurmountable for the home side.

After a very good run of results that have seen them pick up 11 points from the last 15, Kenny Jackett's side will be in a confident frame of mind as they look for their first win at Lincoln in five seasons.

With just five games left, it has come down to this run of games that start tomorrow with the Swans having an outside chance of finding themselves at the top of the league come close of play.

Kenny Jackett has the rare luxury of having nearly all his first team players available - Leon Britton being the only one likely to miss out through injury leaving the door open for a return to the starting line up of Adrian Forbes. Jackett also has to decide on his formation tomorrow and whether to see Andy Robinson come back in at the start following his game turning performance last Saturday against Cambridge.

Keith Alexander is also in the position of having a fully fit squad and has to decide whether to pull his Welsh Under 21 international Lee Beevers back into the starting line up or leave him on the bench.

The Swans won the reverse fixtu8re 1-0 at the Vetch thanks to a goal from Izzy Irikepen although it took a penalty save from Willy Gueret to secure those three points - the first maximum return for Jackett at the Vetch.

Tomorrow is on paper the toughest test remaining for the Swans this season although the old cliche of 'one match at a time' rings very true and anything they can get from this game will go towards the eventual target.

And what does the computer say? 2-2 - I'll take it!
