Season Over For Angel?

Angel Rangel may have played his last game of the season as injury threatens to keep him out

It could even be the end of his Swansea City career if the transfer speculation linking him with moves to Celtic and West Ham is to be believed.

Rangel missed the end of last season through injury and looks as if he may suffer the same fate this season as he looks certain to miss tomorrow's visit of Bristol City as well as potentially the last two league games of the season beyond that.

"I would not stay he has a big chance of playing on Saturday" said Swans boss Roberto Martinez

"He wants to play but we will have to assess him.

"His heel is still giving him a problem and you can not give a time scale on it, he can't train at the moment and there’s a case of him being available on Saturday, but he could also be out for the rest of the season.

"To lose Angel would be a devastating blow - but we have great competition in the squad and everyone must be 100 per cent"
