Cole and Barker Return in Reserves Defeat.

QPR Reserves were narrowly beaten at home to Brighton at Loftus Road this evening.

A goal from Sam Rents on 15 minutes gave Brighton the victory against another young reserve line up, at a bitterly cold Loftus Road earlier this evening.

But the game saw the return to action, from injury, for Jake Cole(thumb) and Chris Barker(hernia). Cole performed well between the sticks for the R's and Barker managed to get a good, solid 75 minutes under his belt.

Chances for the R's fell to Mondays youth team hat trick hero, Morgan-Cummings, along with decent efforts from Matt O'Brien, Andrew Howell, Josh Ford and Chris Arthur amongst others. But the all important equaliser never materialised as the Seagulls held on.

QPR Res: Cole, Goode (Coyne 46), Brown, O'Brien (Smith 59), Ford, Barker (Sylvan-Vanterpool 76), Morgan-Cummings, Davenport, German, Arthur, Howell. Subs: Crowther, Harris.

The reserves are next in action at home to Southampton on Tuesday 18th March, kick off 7.00pm.

QPR Reserve Home matches are played at Loftus Road Stadium. Kick off 7.00pm unless otherwise indicated.
