Leicester City Preview

Macclesfield Town hit the road again tomorrow night as we make another Carling Cup visit to the Walkers Stadium.  Do we have an upset on the cards here?

The Silkmen put in a solid performance at Stevenage at the weekend and with no new injury problems facing Gary Simpson we go into the game in a positive manner.

Simpson might make a couple of changes for this one.  Hamza Bencherif is pushing for a starting place after fully recovering from his broken ankle whilst Lewis Chalmers and Colin Daniel could come in to freshen up the midfield.

Leicester were defeated 3-2 at Crystal Palace at the weekend in Paulo Souza's first game in charge of the Foxes.  Striker Paul Gallagher missed the game but is expected to be fit for Tuesday night.

They still have some doubts over the fitness of Miguel Vitor whilst new signings Moreno and Michael Lamey are hoping to get international clearance in time for kick off.

Kick off is at 7.45pm

Tipton On Fire
Ex Silkmen striker Matthew Tipton has been in superb form over the past few weeks for Dundalk.  A couple of weeks ago he hit his first hat-trick for the club.
The Silkmen Show Podcast Is Out
The Silkmen Show season 2 episode 4 is now available to download from iTunes.  Host Nick Wright and Macclesfield Town fan Jon Smart discussed topics such as Wycombe, Vale and the SST coach.
SST Coach To Crewe
The SST hope to run a coach to Crewe Alexandria on Tuesday 28 Sep 2010 dependent on numbers.  Seat prices will be £7 for SST members and £12 for non SST members. For the coach to run at these seat prices a minimum of 35 people must have booked seats.
Wycombe Wanderers 4
Macclesfield Town have a tricky trip to Wycombe on Saturday afternoon and we are still looking for that first league win of the season.  Can we do it at Adams Park?  Maybe.  Look what I have found within the archives.  A bit of a treet for Macc fans.
Vote For Tremarco
Macclesfield fans have only two weeks left to register their vote for Carl Tremarco to be named a North West player of the year.
