NW Football Awards 2010

The annual NorthWest football awards take place on the 11th October and Macclesfield Town's Carl Tremarco has been nominated for League 2's NorthWest player of the season.

Tremarco made 30 appearances for the Silkmen after signing in 2009 from Wrexham.

Profile

In 2003 Carl started his career as a trainee at Tranmere Rovers. He made his first team appearance 5 months later when he was given a runout in the FA Cup against Hornchurch. He made a total of 52 appearances for Rovers before moving to Wrexham. 

During his spell at the Racecourse ground he made 27 apeparances but Wrexham were relegated to the Conference. 

He joined the Silkmen in June 2009 and was a fans favourite at left back last season.

Tipton On Fire
Ex Silkmen striker Matthew Tipton has been in superb form over the past few weeks for Dundalk.  A couple of weeks ago he hit his first hat-trick for the club.

SST Coach To Crewe
The SST hope to run a coach to Crewe Alexandria on Tuesday 28 Sep 2010 dependent on numbers.  Seat prices will be £7 for SST members and £12 for non SST members. For the coach to run at these seat prices a minimum of 35 people must have booked seats.

Macclesfield Town have a tricky trip to Wycombe on Saturday afternoon and we are still looking for that first league win of the season.  Can we do it at Adams Park?  Maybe.  Look what I have found within the archives.  A bit of a treet for Macc fans.
