Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One match against Huddersfield Town.

The programme has been maintained at 76 pages this season, but with a host of new features to keep you entertained before, during and after the match.

We start with a front cover image of Dale’s new management duo, Steve Eyre and Frank Bunn, who will be taking charge of their first home league fixture.

The manager gives his thoughts on the midweek win over Chesterfield, while ‘Starter For Ten’ looks at some footballing family connections.

A new style Dale Quiz has been compiled to test the grey matter, while ‘Kit Parade’ wonders if an Arsenal fan was once employed by the club.

We have action photos from the pre-season friendlies against Leeds and Wrexham, which is also the destination for the second Traveller’s Tales of the season.

Sarah Lomas and Matt Turner pen their next articles for the programme, while ‘The Great Escape’ reviews the season 25 years ago when Dale came too close for comfort to losing their Football League status.

Visitors Huddersfield Town get eight pages of coverage, in which we reveal a past link between one of their players and a member of the Dale squad.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
