McConville leaves County to head for Dale

Former loanee Sean McConville has left Stockport County and it now would seem an inevitability that he is set to sign for Dale.

Despite having twelve months left on his contract, Stockport have agreed to cancel the remainder of the deal, and have released Sean McConville on a free transfer.

The former Accy winger played for Dale in the recent friendlies against Marine, Southport and Burnley as a trialist and whilst his loan spell at Dale last season was disappointing, he is someone that the Dale management have confirmed that we have not seen the best of as of yet.

McConville had starred for Accrington under the Coleman / Bell management team, before leaving for Stockport in the Summer of 2011.
