Barrow To Blackburn On Loan
Monday, 10th Aug 2015 20:42 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

Modou Barrow has joined Blackburn on a three month loan spell as the Swans want him to gain some first team experience as he remains very much part of their plans for the future.

The winger who played in the Premier League for us last season spent some time last season out on loan at Nottingham Forest and he has now joined another Championship side in Blackburn on loan.

Barrow played twice against Rovers last season and could make his debut for them against Shrewsbury Town in the Capital One Cup tomorrow having been granted permission to play for the Swans.

Barrow made a good impact in Swansea last season and was solely responsible for winning the free kick that Gylfi Sigurdsson scored from against Arsenal and he is highly rated by the management team at the Liberty.

First team chances will be limited this season and the loan move is a good one to get him further experience and aid his development.
