Grayson unlikely to ring the changes
Grayson unlikely to ring the changes

Simon Grayson is not expected to make many changes to tonight's line-up when Leeds face Lincoln City at ER.

The fact of the matter is, the squad is looking pretty bare at the moment so Simon Grayson will almost be forced to stick with the team that flopped against Derby at the weekend.

According to the YEP, Manchester City have refused permission for on-loan youngster Adam Clayton to participate so he does not get cup-tied. I'm actually amazed Mancini has even heard of him as City buy up every foreigner with an exotic name going! (Adam Clayton is quite exotic if you are a fan of U2 I suppose!). Luckily Arsene Wenger is not so fussed about Sanchez Watt, who can play tonight. This does make sense as he has been loaned to us for the entire 2010/11 campaign.

The only plus which came out of the Derby game is that we have no fresh inujury concerns to the ones we already have got! However I think the predicament Grayson is in tonight highlights a commentary I read about us last week where we have a good team on paper, but a poor squad re: strength in depth.

I would have no objection if Larry brought in Alan Sheehan and Andy Robinson out of the cold for tonight's low-key event. Put them in the shop-window, as we used to say!

As for Lincoln. managed by ex-Norwich, Blackburn and Celtic hero Chris Sutton, they are apparently sweating on defenders Adam Watts and Ian Pearce.

Pearce is Sutton's number two and will be known to the majority of the United faithful from his time with West Ham and Blackburn, amongst others.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm tonight priced at £12 adults and £6 concessions and believe it or not there are some still on sale! Go to www.leedsunited.com for further details and click on "tickets".
