Trust Week - Day One

This week is "Trust Week" on RochdaleAFC.com as we highlight some of the work that has been done and is currently being done by the Rochdale Supporters Trust. And we launch a competition which could see you win a new Dale shirt fully autographed by the Dale squad.

So we kick off Trust Week, by launching a very special competition for the start of the 2007-8 season in which you could be walking off with a brand new Dale shirt signed by all of the players.

A 2007-8 Centenary Dale shirt by the Dale squad will be given away to the Dale supporter who can raise the most number of adult members for the Dale Trust by the time of the Wrexham home fixture on 8th September.

All you need to do is get them to write out their details on the Trust Membership form, complete with their £5 joining fee, and take it to the Trust table before any home fixture before 8th September. The winner of this recruitment drive will be announced after the Wrexham home fixture, with the shirt presentation to be arranged at a subsequent time.

You can print out copies of the Trust Membership form by clicking here, by visiting the Trust website or by calling into Studds before any home game. Also, copies will be available at tonight's Fans Forum.

With over 400 members last season, you'll probably find that many of your family and friends were Trust members last season, and with membership due for renewal at this time of the year, all that is being asked is that you do a bit of co-ordinating family and friends and hand in all their memberships together and you could find yourself walking away with the prize shirt.

And just to give yourself the best possible chance of winning, it might be worth hassling that extra couple of people to join just to ensure that it is you who walks away with the esteemed shirt. However, we regret to inform you that whilst it is great that junior membership in the Trust is free of charge, they will not count towards this competition.

How will Man City react to Rodri blow?
Manchester City midfielder Rodri is arguably the best at what he does in world football. Fresh off the back of yet more success with City last season and with Spain at the Euros in the summer, it was expected the Spaniard would be back to lead the charge for Pep Guardiola’s side this term. But his season is already over due to a serious knee injury.
Toney’s Future On Hold Until After The Euros
Ivan Toney is expected to be the subject of a lot of interest this summer, with his Brentford future in doubt. The striker, who has been a revelation since joining The Bees, has spoken of his desire to challenge himself at the highest level possible, but talks on his future will now be put on hold because of Euro 2024.
