If you're coming from West London or out of town to the west then come in on the M4 and follow it until it becomes the A4 and then two miles later turn off onto Hammersmith Broadway and then as above.
From the south leave the M25 at Junction 10 and take the A3 towards Central London . After around eight miles, leave the A3 at the turn off for the A219. Take the A219 towards Putney. Continue straight on this road, down Putney High Street and across Putney Bridge .

The following tube and train closures are in operation this Bank Holiday Monday:
- The Circle Line is closed from Gloucester Road to Aldgate and the District Line is shut from Earl’s Court to Aldgate East.
- There is no Northern Line between Kennington and Camden Town on the Bank branch, or Camden Town and Edgware on that side of the two north branches. Trains will run as normal between Kennington and Morden, on the Charing Cross branch through town, and on the High Barnet branch at the north end. Rail replacement bus services will run.
- The Jubilee Line is replaced by buses between Stanmore and West Hampstead.
- The Metropolitan Line is closed from Aldgate all the way up to Uxbridge and replaced by buses. It will operate from Chesham, Amersham and Watford as far as Harrow-on-the-Hill. In addition, there are no Chiltern Trains between Marylebone and Amersham.
- No DLR between Canning Town and Beckton.
Furthermore, those coming from Reading, Staines, Windsor and Weybridge into Paddington and Waterloo should plan their journeys carefully in advance because extensive engineering works at Reading station have decimated the timetable.
The much publicised date clash between Chelsea v Man Utd on Monday lunchtime and Fulham v QPR in the evening is likely to lead to an even higher police presence than usual for this fixture. I suspect the pubs along the Fulham Palace Road and the ones most QPR fans tend to frequent around Hammersmith Broadway for this fixture will be heavily policed and restricted. May well be worth using the usual pubs around Shepherd’s Bush and heading down later on. Not sure what the situation will be on the other side of the river in Putney but that might be a better option.
Rangers still have a handful – 128 at the last count – of tickets left in the Putney End of the ground for this one and they’re now on general sale. They’re priced £38 for adults, £28 for seniors and under 21s, and £18 for under 16s. The wheelchair spaces are now all sold out but some of the 20 allocated ambulant disabled do remain priced £20 adults, £15 for seniors and under21s and £10 for under 16s. These all remain on sale until close of business on Thursday and the match is all ticket with nothing on sale on the day.
