Midfielder David Silva has today agreed a new deal with Manchester City.
Silva has signed a new five year deal meaning he will stay with City until 2019. The 28 year old has been with City since signing from Valencia in 2010 and has played a major role for City since.
Silva has made over 150 appearances for the club in his four season with the club and has scored 27 times. Silva is a regular in the Spanish national team with who he won the World Cup in 2010 and the European Championship in 2012.
He is the third City player to sign a new deal this summer, joining winger Samir Nasri and defender Aleksandar Kolarov in committing his future to the club.
