City skipper Vincent Kompany as praised City loan signing Frank Lampard. The 36 year old arrived at City on a temporary deal after joining new MLS side New York City FC at the end of last season.
Kompany spoke to The Sport Review of how he has been impressed with Lampard in training.
"I think all of the signings will make a big difference,” Kompany said. "Just watching Frank Lampard in training for example.
"People won’t tip him as one of the players to make the biggest difference for us this season, but he looks amazing, unbelievable.”
Lampars was capped over 100 times for England and is Chelsea's all-time top goalscorer with 211 goals in all competitions.
