Kayden Jackson

According to a Wrexham fan I know, their striker Kayden Jackson has turned down a new deal to sign for us. He has only scored 4 goals this season for them, but he's only 22 and has a fair bit of pace apparently.

This may have been mentioned, but what is the reason for Alessandra not featuring yet? He looked really good in pre-season.

Poor advert for League 1
at 17:25 14 Mar 2015

I'm not having a go at Dale, because the football Fleetwood dished up wasn't brilliant either. I said after 20 minutes, that first team to score would win. I've never yawned so much in a game. Can anyone remember a game as dull as that?

Bastien Hery
at 21:52 12 Aug 2014

Hill slated Hery at the forum for being selfish and losing the ball. I think he's coaching his good qualities out of his game. I'd sooner see him run with the ball and lose it than just hold it and pass like he did tonight. A really poor performance in the second half from the full team, Hill got it tactically wrong.

A bit of a con
at 10:16 6 Jun 2014

As you all know, every year in the special promotion period you are put in a 'raffle' for a chance to win back the price of your season ticket. It really annoys me how every year it's always a child that wins it. I can't believe how stingy the club are being when they don't want to part with an extra £200, it wouldn't break the bank. I would have no issue with a child winning if the raffle was fair, but it clearly isn't. Any thoughts?

Hogan's replacement?
at 13:48 20 Jan 2014

With odds now shortening to 10/11 on Sky Bet, it looks like the deal with wolves is done. I'm not expecting the directors to outlay a huge percentage of the fee on a new striker, but 50-100k should be invested in a decent one. Any suggestions on who his replacement will be? Any rumours? Who would you like to get? Or any fringe players/youth team players that should be given a chance?

Hill encouraged
at 20:34 11 Feb 2013

I'm not sure I am after the performance at Northampton, only really threatened in the first 20 minutes and having watched his interview on Dale Player it doesn't look like we're going to sign anybody on loan as the budget has already been wasted by Coleman. Whatever happens, not Hill's fault of course. Any thoughts?

What's the point in sacking Coleman?
at 15:11 18 Dec 2012

I'm as frustrated as any fan at the moment and I don't think Coleman is going to turn it around, however, who is going to replace him? There just isn't anybody within our budget that is going to work a miracle this season. We may aswell just settle for mid-table mediocrity until Coleman's contract runs out, then get somebody in, in the summer. There just isn't a point in sacking him now, there's nobody else who could achieve promotion with this set of players. And no; before anybody says Hill or Flitcroft as his replacement, it just isn't going to happen. Rememember what happened when Parkin came back for the 2nd time?

Time Wasters...
at 20:24 15 Jan 2012

There are a lot of time wasters at this club. The staff in ticket office, the club shop and the football in the community staff do not have a positive impact on this club in any way, shape or form. The staff at the ticket office make it almost impossible to buy a ticket. Once you are at the kiosk you have to wait an eternity to be served, you are then greeted by a sigh and a look of disgust because the employee serving you, had to get off their chair and walk the mamouth distance to the counter. It's not surprising that only 1% of Rochdale's population attend games with service like this. The football being played is bad enough, we don't need any other deterrents.

The club shop staff, what do they do all day? Fair enough, it's not their fault that, apart from the shirts, the rest of the merchandise is total crap and as a result not many people visit on days which aren't match days, but is there really any need for 2 or sometimes 3 staff to be in the shop on weekdays, when rarely anyone goes in?

Football in the community staff, again too many staff, who spend most of their time visiting schools and running soccer schools on probably one of the worst astroturfs in Rochdale. I've been to those soccer schools as a kid and I don't think i've ever gone home inspired from some top class coaching. The coaches look as if they just want to get through the day, go home and drag out a wage.

My favourite on of all, must be the person that has been hired to maintain the official website, which people rarely use. How much is she getting paid, to maintain a website, which quite frankly, few people give a damn about?

It's not surprising that we can't afford a decent striker and a centre half, when we have useless people doing pointless jobs on good wages.

Travel to Tranmere
at 12:29 15 Jan 2012

Having already booked the coach to Tranmere and getting 10 minutes away from the game which was postponed, I now find out that if I want to travel to the rearranged fixture, I have to pay for the coach again. I know it's not our clubs fault, but I think that the directors should put their hands in their pockets and give the fans that have already paid for the coach, free travel. I have supported Rochdale since I was 6 and have had a season ticket for about 10 seasons and travel to the majority of away games, yet I get nothing in return and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that feels like this.It seems as if, once the club has had your money, they don't care. I will now not be travelling to Tranmere or any other away game for that matter via the official coach. Any other opinions on this?

All I heard was rave reviews about this angolan defender, so why is he yet to feature? He's not even been a sub, surely he's worth trying out. What's the point of building up a player if he's not going to be played!? Saying that, Eyre signed him so he'll probably be nowt special.
