tRAMsfer News: Derby Land Bryson With 2 More On The Way!
Sunday, 5th Jun 2011 15:06 by Daniel J Sewart

It seems Craig Bryson is heading to the Rams from Killie with as many as 3 players close to signing on for Derby by the end of the coming week as the Rams have also upped their interest in Shackell and Tyson.

With Frank Fielding, Jamie Ward and Theo Robinson already signed and Chris Maguire as good as signed from Aberdeen, it seems there are more to come sooner rather than later.

Kilmarnock captain Craig Bryson, is poised to sign a three year contract after he completes a medical at Pride Park this week. The 24 year old will make the switch now that his SPL club has agreed to the £450,000 reportedly offered by Derby. If you can believe what you read  - this deal should be completed early this week.

BBC Radio Derby reported yesterday that a third offer for Barnsley's Jason Shackell may tempt new manager Keith Hill to cash in for a fee believed to be closing in on  £1 million. The first two offers were rejected but Shackell himself is now pushing for a move.

Plus former Forest flag waver Nathan Tyson, who is available on a free after walking out on contract negotiations with the Tree’s, look set to join the Rams who reportedly lead the race to tempt him down the A52.

In relation to Shackell who has been the subject of many reports in recent days, his new manager in Keith Hill is resigned to losing his skipper as the player seems to have asked to be allowed to leave:

"Ideally, you want to keep your best players but any deals we do will only be done for the benefit of the football club.”

"It's always your intention to keep your best players. I would love to retain him but it can get very political and we've got to look at it from a footballing perspective."

"We've got to look at it from a club perspective and we've got to also look at it from the player's perspective as well.”

Things look to be hotting up as Nigel Clough looks set to sign two club Captains, a proven Championship player in Tyson and a striker with great potential in Maguire.

If this is just the beginning of the Rams new player purchases then thing are beginning to definitely show positive signs.

But as is always best when it comes to the Rams, it is best to wait and see if the reports become reality.

Until officially announced, nothing at DCFC is ever a certainty!

Pringle Pops Off!

In one final piece of transfer news Rotherham United has signed Ben Pringle on a two-year contract for the League Two club.

Nigel Clough bid farewell to his young midfielder:

"Ben is a great young lad and we all wish him well in the future."

Ben Pringle joined the Rams from Ilkeston just over two years ago and managed 23 senior appearances for the club but could never manage a regular starting spot.

RamZone wishes Ben all the best at his new club.

He always gave his all in a Derby shirt and that is all we could ever ask!
