Edwards Undecided on International Future

Full-back Carlos Edwards says he’s as yet undecided whether to retire from international football. The 33-year-old recently won his 82nd cap, having scored four goals, as Trinidad and Tobago crashed out of the 2014 World Cup in the very early stages of qualifying.

Edwards told the club site: "Everything is up in the air at the moment regarding the international side of things for me.

"Perhaps I could help out at the next World Cup in an advisory role, or something similar to that.

"But saying that you never know what is around the corner and it's something that I will need to have a think about, although it definitely appeals to me."

Edwards’s fellow Trinidadian Jason Scotland hung up his international boots earlier on in the season.
