Paulo Sousa is facing a midfield crisis for tomorrow night's game at Doncaster Rovers

Swansea have 8 first team midfielders unavailable for the game at the Keepmoat Stadium, with Ferrie Bodde the latest to be ruled out after it was confirmed he had suffered a recurrence of his ligament injury.

Darren Pratley, Joe Allen, Andrea Orlandi, Leon Britton and Cedric van der Gun are all expected to miss out through respective injuries, while Nathan Dyer and Jordi Lopez both miss out through suspension.

That means Sousa has just 2 senior midfielders to choose from in Mark Gower and Tom Butler, both widemen, with no recognised centre midfielders available.

"It should make it easier to pick the side because I've only got so many players left," the Swans boss told the official site.

"But that's the reality of the situation. We've got to live with it, get on with it and do our best.

"We got what we deserved against Sheffield United - three points - and we are confident in ourselves to get another three points at Doncaster.

"The winning mentality we showed against Sheffield needs to be present every day and every game.

"We are a strong family here and I can guarantee you that everyone will work hard for each other.

"We need to cross the road together, not separate, and people should be positive and proud of the work we are doing in such difficult circumstances.

For fans who love their football, it should be a good game to watch.

"Both teams like to play football."
