Sousa: Only One Team Had The Mentality To win
Sousa: Only One Team Had The Mentality To win

Paulo Sousa was clearly a disappointed man after his side conceded a last gasp equaliser at Peterborough

The Swansea City boss would have been forgiven for thinking that Lee Trundle's own stoppage time goal had given the Swans all three points on the road only to see Peterborough score with just about the last kick of the game.

And he firmly believed that there was only one team that deserved to take the points away from the game saying after the game

“There was only one team with the mentality to win the game

“We produced all the football and did everything we could to get the three points," Sousa said.

“I do not feel we deserved to be behind anyway. Anything can happen at a throw-in like the one for their first goal and in my opinion there was a foul on Gorka Pintado from behind.

“It is not a fair goal but my team showed a good reaction to come back and score two goals to get ourselves ahead.

“But we have to show more maturity after making such a big effort. It is very disappointing to leave with only one point.”
