This week's News of the World carries the story that Darren Pratley will this week move to Celtic

The Swansea City midfielder has long since been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium and this time around it is the Scottish runners up that are being reported as ready to make their move.

So far this seems feasibly possible but then you factor in the fact that the reported fee is set to be £1m and you have to say it seems to lose all credibility for a player who will be valued at three times this as a bare minimum for the club.

The report in the paper says "DARREN PRATLEY is set to complete a £1million move to Celtic this week.

"The Swansea midfielder has been watched by a number of clubs in the Championship but the SPL giants have come forward with a firm offer.

"Pratley, 25, was a key player for the Swans last season as they narrowly pipped to a play-off place by Blackpool on the last day of the season.

He has been watched by Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough since Christmas but has instead agreed a four-year deal with the Glasgow club."

The report also comes a matter of days after Chairman Huw Jenkins said that there had yet been any official approach for Pratley since the season ended "I have had no contact from Celtic or anyone else about Darren and we hope it stays that way," he said on Wednesday
