20K+ Set For Visit Of Bristol Rovers

Saints could have their biggest crowd of the season on Tuesday Night.

Saints look set to break the 20,000 mark for the visit of Bristol Rovers on Tuesday evening, beating the 20,103 that saw the opening day fixture against Millwall, the last home game against Yeovil almost beat that figure, falling only 196 short as 19,907 came through the gate, however as Yeovil brought around 1,000 less than the London side, that was the biggest atttendance of Saints supporters.

But with Rovers flying high and bringing a good away following, both gates could be eclipsed if the walk up at those games is matched for the visit of the Bristol club.

Certainly its the biggest home game of the season so far, Rovers sit 3rd behind Charlton and are pushing for promotion, not to mention they will be keen to show Rickie Lambert he would have been better staying in Bristol.

But Saints are keen to keep the unbeaten run going and certainly fear no one and this match might just capture the imagination of the fans.

The Club are advising Saints fans intending on going to buy their tickets in advance, the last evening game against SMS saw a big walk up on the night as did the Northampton game, even Yeovil had queues at the ticket office at kick off, so the message is pop up there in advance, or if you must buy on the night, get there before 7pm to allow plenty of time for the queue and to get into the ground.

The game itself kicks off at 7.45pm
