Jovetic To Star This Season

Pellegrini has sent out a warning to City's Premier League rivals. The warning concerns Stevan Jovetic and the news all of us blues want to hear. The striker is set to be a star for the Blues this season after finally putting injury problems behind him.

Jovetic joined City from Fiorentina last summer for £22 million but had a injury hit season. The injuries restricted him to just just 16 appearances, with 11 of them as a substitute.He scored five goals in four games during the tour of the United States.

And he started City’s opening games of the season against Arsenal, in the Community Shield, and Newcastle.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News Pellegrini said;“I think Stevan is playing very well. He is in a very good moment with us and I hope he will continue in the same way because he is a very important and very good player for us.

“I always say my players are the best players in the Premier League and we have the strongest squad, not only attackers but also defending and in the whole squad.

“He has a lot of movement and if you review what happened last season every time he went from the bench on the pitch he always scored.

“He is a very good finisher and we will see the real Stevan Jovetic this season.”
