Tuesday, 2nd Sep 2014 10:58 Sportinastorm.com has reported that City will have their restrictions imposed by UEFA lifted after showing a player trading profit of £9 million after the transfer window closed. City spent their entire wage cap of £49.9 million bringing in Fernando, Eliaquim Mangala and Willy Caballero. City have sold Jack Rodwell, Gareth Barry, Javi Garcia and Emyr Hughes for a combined £28.5million and agreed a £2m loan fee for striker Alvaro Negredo on deadline day, with a guarantee of a further £23 million to make the deal permanent. City will also pick up around £4.8 million in total for a similar arrangement they have made with Fiorentina for Micah Richards. City had a two-year spending cap imposed on them for breaching their Financial Fair Play rules but with the promise the second year would be lifted if there was an improvement.
