Friday, 21st Nov 2014 10:36

City play host to Swansea on saturday but could be without four first-team regulars as they look to reverse a poor run of form.City will want to improve over their 2-2 draw with QPR. Swansea have not beaten Manchester City since Luke Moore scored in a 1-0 win in 2012. The Swans though will be riding high on confidence after coming from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 in their last Premier League fixture.

Team News

Vincent Kompany is a doubt after suffering a calf injury on national duty so Mangala is expected to start alongside Martin Demichelis. Silva is back in light training though Saturday’s game will be too early for him while Dzeko and Kolarov are also sidelined with both of them not expected to be fit for another couple of weeks.

Ashley Richards, Rory Donnelly and Federico Fernandez will not travel to the Etihad for Swansea as they are all still carrying injuries. Jonjo Shelvey is back from suspension after getting sent off against Everton and should replace on loan Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Carroll.
