All Three Points Needed
Tuesday, 3rd Mar 2015 09:19
Manchester City welcome bottom club Leicester city to the Eastlands for this midweek fixture. After Sunday's defeat at Anfield to Liverpool City will see this match as a great opportunity to get back to winning ways and boost morale. Leicester have taken just eight points from a possible 30 since losing to City in the away fixture in December, putting them five points adrift of safety.
Manchester City have no injury concerns going into this fixture but we may see Pellegrini rotate the squad a little.
Kasper Schmeichel is Leicester’s only injury concern but it looks unlikely that he will return at the Etihad to face his former club.
Sergio Aguero has been involved in five goals in City’s last three league matches. He has scored three and assisted one.
Leicester City have conceded two or more goals in six of their last ten matches, showing their vulnerabilities in defence.
