Kompany In Dressing Room Bust Up
Wednesday, 11th Mar 2015 09:44

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany was dropped from the squad in the game against Leicester City after a dressing room bust-up with teammate Fernandinho. The pair were involved in a "blazing row" at half time during the Sky Blues' 2-1 defeat to Liverpool three days earlier, according to The Mirror.

Fernandinho is said to have pointed the finger at the Belgian international for his part in Jordan Henderson's 11th minute opener at Anfield. Kompany allegedly refused to calm down, even when boss Manuel Pellegrini tried to step in to defuse the row.

Brazilian Fernandinho was not involved at all three days later against bottom club Leicester. It remains to be seen whether Pellegrini will allow the skipper back into the side for Saturday’s trip to Burnley.
