Pompey fans are probably hoping Graham Alexander, Tony Mowbray or Jon Whitney are named as November's League One manager of the month.

That's because the trio are up against Blues boss Kenny Jackett for the award - and the winners of such prizes have a habit of seeing their team's good form come to an abrupt halt.

Pompey won three of their four League One games in November, with a defeat at Peterborough the only blot on Jackett's copybook.

The winner will be announced on Friday morning after deliberations by a panel that includes George Burley, Don Goodman, EFL marketing director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL trader Mikey Mumford.
