Pep Guardiola is luring a Real Madrid´s scout for the Sky Blues
Monday, 5th Mar 2018 14:45

The Sky Blues coach, Pep Guardiola, continues to show his quality and well-deserved name both as a player the leader of the team, in what has been called one of the most successful starts in a season as they conquered Chelsea 1-0. In clear seas, the always smart and capable coach is on the move one more time against his former opponent, Real Madrid FC.

Their adventures go back a dozen years back when Pep started picking players off the Real Madrid soon after they scouted them and were ready to sign them off. It seems that ex FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich is ready to do it again. Sources confirm that Guardiola is after the FC Fulham´s rising star Ryan Sessegnon.

This announcement comes soon after his second and solid win versus a very poor and low key Chelsea, sparking a lot of fire at London, as Jamie Redknapp said their performance against the Sky Blues was a “crime against football”. Even when Manchester City didn’t entirely bright in this loose match, the goal of Bernardo Silva was more than enough to close a match that won´t be remembered in years to come.

Vigilant Eye

Pep Guardiola is known for his permanent need for new and better players, in this case, his eye posed in the young talent of the Fulham´s FC, the 17 years old left winger Ryan Sessegnon. This young player has become his club´s biggest player in the last years, showing great promise and the interest of many European clubs, with a huge bid coming from Guardiola´s old rival, the “Meringues” or “Whites” of the Real Madrid.

This English player really stands in the crowd of players that the Fulham has on its roster, with over 18 goals in his 59 appearances in the field. Of course, the White Lilies owner Shahid Kha told the media the deal for his jewel won´t be cheap. That sparks the question of Guardiola´s power since he doesn´t seem to have a limit when it comes to asking for new players.

But the need for a new and pushing left winger is real, as shown in the bitter performance of the Sky Blues versus Chelsea. Sessegnon not only has 14 goals this season but also is one of England´s best promises to win a cup very soon. Some of the experts compare him to former star Gareth Bale in his Tottenham years.

It could be of great help to Sergio Agüero, that even when is one of the greatest strikers of the Premier´s League, has some problems shaking off the defenders when he has no help from the left. Of course that his arrival will surely bring up not only fan´s spirits but also a ton of money in online betting, for what you can always discover Premier League odds for every game throughout the season at William Hill.

We will have to wait to see if Pep´s requests find a willing ear this time, but with his impressive background in Barcelona and Munich, there´s not much for the Sky Blues owner Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan to do, other than pulling his wallet and pay the bill.
