Refwatch: Wimbledon v Dale
Thursday, 6th Dec 2018 20:58 by TVOS

Somerset referee Kevin Johnson is the man in the middle for Dale’s trip to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

Mr Johnson is in his fifth season on the league list and on Saturday will referee Dale for only the second time in league action.

We last saw him at Sheffield United in August 2016, where Andy Cannon’s first half goal earned Dale a 1-1 draw.

Prior to that, Kevin refereed Dale’s FA Cup tie at Northampton in November 2014 when we ground out a 0-0 draw despite playing most of the game with ten men after Ian Henderson’s early red card.

Mr Johnson mainly officiates at games in League One and League Two, as well as a smattering of cup ties.

This season he has overseen 21 games, showing 60 yellow cards and two red. His last match was Forest Green v Colchester just over a week ago.
