In isolation, it was a decent battling performance with a star performance from Gazzaniga followed closely by Romeu. As we stand though, it was a worrying extension of our bad run when we've got difficult games coming up.

From the moment l saw the team's l thought we were just playing for a draw. We looked so disjointed and out of sync, l fear if we don't get a result soon it will be hard to recover.We are still playing Yoshida and never it never pays of.

how on earth has Ryan ended up with 5.1 it should be zero, never won a single tackle and only put one cross in

I'm going to say this before Nick.
If we had scored two goals thwn we would have been above Palace and challenging for a European place.
Serious report to follow!

Another poor performance I'm afraid to say. Created nothing of note. Where has our pass / move / overlap play gone? Some times we play such beautiful, silky football. Other times, we can't put 2 passes together

Had the keeper not pulled off a great save from Davis, who knows what might have happened. It seems our form dips when we get to the Christmas period..

I have to give credit to Gazzaniga though. He pulled off some get saves. He's never filled me with confidence with his previous games but today I thought he showed great promise. More of the same please.

Tend to agree with CorkCitySaint. Formation looked as though we were coming for a draw/1-0 victory. Always thought that if Palace scored first it would be very difficult to get back in to it as I couldn't see where goals were going to come from. Palace coped much better than we did with the strong wind and I agree that the wind suited their style of play more than ours. With a 5 across midfield set up you really need someone to be able to break the line and get beyond the forwards. Steven Davis did that once with his great header, but other than that........? Bertrand looks overweight and had an extremely poor game, Zaha bullied him most of the time. Pluses - Gazza was fantastic, Romeu did OK.

So, we can't stop letting in goals and we can't score? Great combination!

With every prospect of losing the next four games there is a bit more to this than Ron saying:-

- we were the better team;
- we didn't deserve to loose;
- if we keep playing like this the win will come;
- take the positives out of this;......

It is simply unbelievable that we could end up in the relegation dogfight with the likes of Sunderland, Newcastle, Villa & Bournemouth because let's face it those teams are woeful this season playing without skill or shape - it is simply unbelievable isn't it? Please tell me so..

Overall not a bad performance apart from the goal. Romeu ambled back, Cedric likewise and out of position.
Romeu had a mixed fortune game, he got involved and put in some good passes but also gave the ball away. I question his fitness looked exhausted second half.

Cedric not much of an improvement as a defender.

Pelle no improvement when he appeared

What fantastic goalkeepers today, both made tremendous saves.

hard game...we started well and if Charlie played first 30 mins instead of last 30 we might have pinched it....thought sandro ale and henry did well first half...second half burnley bossed it....Barton shuld have been booked first half as he was regularly when he had a rs shirt on....credit the clap at the end.....a well earned point..
