I thought Hojbjerg and JWP were awesome today. Hojbjerg really ‘stepped up to the plate’ with an inexperienced player alongside him in midfield.

Hats off to Ralph for picking Smallbone, rather than going for the obvious, and slightly negative, tactic of playing Romeu.

I really felt for Adams today, I don’t know how their defender blocked his effort, gutted!

Great performance, onwards and upwards!

Well done to the whole team played like we all know they can. Can not single out any one player as they were all deserving the MOM this week. Although with the slating's he had recieved on here in the past think Jack Stephens deserves special mention.

Nice to have a huge smile at the end. Fully deserved to be 4-0 but once again disappointing in front of goal. Oh to get Jack Grealish in our team next year. What a pass by Che Adams to set up Armstrong at the end and despite being at the end of the game...he went like a train to reach the ball and calmly slotted the ball home. Seen it several times on YouTube ...gets better ever time. Now three points at West Ham will be enough to guarantee our place for next season

Well I was surprised how poorly AVL came out and we totally dominated the first half. If it wasnt for Reina, we would have been 4 up by half. Everyone played the full 90+ minutes and we were much better at passing in the channels today. Dont let the shot count fool you, most of our shots were in the stands or a mile wide. JWP shows his versatility and his did ball crosses were spot on today. Moussa impressed me as he never gave up on any ball and hustled all the way to the end. He has to work on his finishing though as he missed a setter. All in all it was a good game by all and thankfully no VAR interference. On to the next. COYR.

Great performance. Deserved to be 3-0 up at half time. Great assists from MD and CA. Smallbone had a great debut.

6 from the next 9 points and we can then really push on without looking over our shoulders. COYR!

Stroud was actually fine until he took that knock to the head and added 5 minutes.

A game of 4 quarters (and a bit) on a bitterly cold night, when for the first quarter, both teams looked as though they'd rather have stayed in a warm dressing room. But then Rs got going and managed to pass the ball to each other, rather than hitting it directly into touch. Kelly remarkably managed to do just that 3 times in the first 15 minutes.

The second half started with a period of Derby dominance, but by the fourth quarter Rs had regained the initiative and deserved the winning goal. The last 10 minutes were very nervy, and although Rs had chances to clinch the game, in truth, we were fortunate to get 3 points.

Dom Ball has really come on during the course of the season. He plays further forward now and has an important role in prompting the more skillful players ahead of him, but still breaks up play and gets in tackles. Toss up between him and Eze for MotM. The latter looked a class above everyone else on the pitch, especially when robbing Rooney and winning a free kick for the foul.

Any chance the team could practice defending corners?? Would really help.

Hall's goal was a well choregraphed homage to Zamora's Wembley wonder goal. Check out QPRNYC on twitter for the best meme of the week

Sometimes football is near perfect; hook up at C&S with old friend up from Bournemouth, Weeping Tiger - better with noodles, not rice, London Pride - never wait long for service, walk to ground, perfect weather, truly entertaining game from 2 teams with little to play for, deserved 2-1 result, smile on my face all the way back to Colchester, extended highlights next day, await Clive's latest masterpiece. Delight tempered only by a feeling of regret that we are seeing the last performances in hooped shirts by some of these exciting talented players

Great performance by everyone in our team no weak links tonight. Pity the match was decided by a biased, incompetent, homer ref who was not fit to referee a parks match.
