What a difference a week makes. Great resilience from the players and tactically spot on from the manager. It needed FF to make some fine saves but boy was he in the mood today. Get him signed up because on that form he is better than most other keepers we have been linked with.

Pleased with the team adjustments made and the overall attitude compared to last week! We were solid, if very cautious, but you can’t argue with what worked! Forster was immense - again - and the defense was much improved, though Valery did make a couple of potentially damaging mistakes. Would have liked to see us pushing Arsenal a bit higher up the field as the game went on - Che could have been helpful there. Good day overall - even the ref had a good game letting it flow and letting us off a couple of yellows we might have otherwise received!

We needed to see a reaction and we got it.

Rearranged formation worked. Perraud needs to play every week. 3 CB's dajfu.

Arsenal had more of the game but FF played out of his skin. Sign him and loan out McCarthy.

I'm afraid the Fraser Forster question might already have been resolved going by the rumours regarding his likely close season departure. After a display like todays there will be a lot of interest from other clubs. At last the team fought for the result. Yes, there were errors but, as this scoreline makes us safe, it would be churlish to moan. We also saw some stand-out performances from Perraud, who had Saka in his pocket - not an easy thing to do and Perraud was out on his feet at the end. Romeu and Lyanco both impressed and the players held their formation better than any other game this season, in my opinion. A good result against a talented team who ran out of ideas after finding no way past Forster. A clap for the referee, too. He certainly wasn't whistle happy and let the two sides get on with it.

Three CB's = result, as has happened before after a losing spell with 2 CB's.

No doubt Ralphy will revert to 2 CB's next to ensure inconsistency.

That is 11 points against the traditional big 6 and the only losing record in the big 6 is against Chelsea and Liverpool (that could still be turned around).

Still think we were robbed by the Kyle Walker pen decision away which would have made that even better.

I suspect we would be further up the table if we were not as adventurous against teams we see as lesser, but then maybe not as attractive to watch..

Given the money we have spent this to me is highly acceptable.

FF's negotiations just jumped £20k . Brilliant, let's hope we can settle down and get a few more points to make a respectable finish in the league.
