Strange thing this while thread and everything there is written:
how many people have been following this player in the past years. Or did you only read something about him in the last year, when he was playing for Celtic in a competition without any struggle......it was clear there was only one club that had to become the champs and it was clear that that should be Celtic. No competition at all and so very simple to be the champ and to play rather well in that awful competition....
Or did you follow the guy when he was playing at Groningen. His former club where he played one years ago and the same club who lost from Aberdeen just a few weeks ago......
So, just how is it possible that a lot of you are alleready enthousiastic about that guy and rhink he is the wanted and needed CB? |

Just some kind of supporter i just dislike:
Thinking he has the best opinion about football and players.....mostly enjoying new players without knowing anything about them but what he has been reading or hearing. Still thinking all these new ones must be better as what we have.
Even Billy had no fair chance in PL.,...i would like to see him play and compare him with sir R. or Pelle afterwords and than give my meaning. |

Your remark is probably the answer why Lallana missed his chance (sure he did that on purpose because Hooiveld was playing); the answer why Rickie missed his chance 2 minutes befor the end of the game (only because Hooiveld was playing); and the answer why Shaw's crossing was just abysmal on saturday (only to make a statement about the fact Hooiveld was playing); the answer why Wanyama gave the ball to the opponent by which he could score (also just because of playing Hooiveld); the answer why Davis played his worst game of the season etc.etc.

I am sorry but if you think i am Hooiveld, than again you are wrong. Just hate your way off being critical towards that guy. You started before he even kicked a ball in Southampton. When you are wondering why i am always reacting in favour of Hooiveld let me than just tell you that i like the guy very much, played together with him in Holland and so i think i know a little bit better than you on here what his capacities are. |

Looks like he has more confidence in Fonte, Hooiveld and Yoshida as he has in Forren, the player you admired that much....thought you where waiting anxiously for his debut.
It also shows that the manager has more footballknowledge as you have. He was looking for an extra CD, because he knew he would not use Forren.

Just a very bad game from him as his teammates!!! No controll of the ball of anybody today, no good passing of anybody today, just a very bad game! Only one who reached his level was maya and nobody else! |
