Neil Warnock - will he stay beyond the end of the season?
by PhilSpenc23 at 16:54 17 Dec 2020

What a game-changing appointment he has been.

Few would have expected him to have Middlesbrough on the cusp of a play-off spot, but no one is complaining.

The question now is how likely he is to stick around...

Are Middlesbrough dark horses?
by PhilSpenc23 at 12:01 21 Oct 2020

It can't just be me who has a spring in my step this morning.

A hard-fought victory over Bristol City made it five games without defeat for Neil Warnock's side.

It's clearly early days but we're already seeing that Middlesbrough are a completely different proposition to last term.

Can we make a push for the play-offs? Discuss below!

Neil Warnock - tactical genius?
by PhilSpenc23 at 22:10 20 Oct 2020

What can you say about him?

Middlesbrough have a manager who knows what it takes to grind out a result in this league.

We might not have the best squad in the Championship - far from it - but with Neil Warnock in charge we have a fighting chance in every game that we play.

That makes us dark horses.

Chuba Akpom - signing of the summer?
by PhilSpenc23 at 20:16 20 Oct 2020

One player who I've been so impressed with since he arrived at the club is Chuba Akpom.

Yes he's scored goals but it's his movement and ability to put himself in the right position that makes him a real threat.

If he can keep himself fit it would be no surprise to see him get 15+ goals this term.

Do Middlesbrough need another striker?
by PhilSpenc23 at 13:15 18 Oct 2020

Ashley Fletcher's injury has posed a real problem for Neil Warnock.

Chuba Akpom and Britt Assombalonga are Middlesbrough's only fit forwards at present - something that poses a real risk with such an intense run of fixtures on the horizon.

So does Neil Warnock need to add another option into the mix? Have your say below!

The transfer window has slammed shut - well, for 10 weeks at least.

Middlesbrough completed some decent business in a solid, yet unspectacular spending spree.
