Swansea City have recalled midfielder Shaun McDonald after Roberto Martinez was dealt a fresh injury blow.

The 20 year old has vastly impressed in his short stay at Huish Park scoring 2 goals in 4 appearances for the glovers but injury to fellow youth team product Joe Allen has forced Swansea to recall the midfielder to ease injury concerns with a busy month of March ahead.

Garry Monk's chances of facing Charlton Athletic on the weekend are rated as 50/50 but striker Gorka Pintado is expected to be fit after recovering from a hernia opperation.
