Friday, 26th Feb 2010 13:08

David Cotterill and Ashley Williams have both been named in the Welsh squad for next week's friendly

Defender Williams has become a stalwart in the heart of the Welsh defence in recent years and has even captained the squad against Scotland last year and looks set to retain the honour against the Scandinavian outfit.

Cotterill has impressed this season after his record breaking move from Sheffield United and could earn his 16th cap against the blue and yellow.

Dully the 52 year old has named a very strong Swedish his squad to face the Dragons with Barcelona's Zlatan Ibrahimovic being the only name of note omitted from the squad.

Despite the enigmatic striker's absence, Hamrén has still named a strong squad with the likes of Lyon's Kim Källström, Al- Hilal's Christian Wilhelmsson and Bolton's Johan Elmander all set to face Wales.
