Brendan Rodgers was almost the happiest man in Wales after watching his side humiliate their visitors

The Swansea City manager saw his side take apart Leeds United and he said after the game "We were terrific in every aspect of our game.

"The goals were outstanding after we started the game really well - nice and bright and we got hold of the football early, passed it well and scored three outstanding goals.

"Scott's 20 goals is not bad for a winger.  He is a wide player but he has that instinct to score and always has done.

"It's his first full season but he still looks very fresh and put his penalty away really well.  Across the board the two wingers were outstanding, Stephen Dobbie in his role showed his cleverness and intelligence, the two players behind controlled and the back four and goalkeeper were solid.  An oustandting team performance and great to do it in front of a packed house.

Asked about Leeds first half appeals for a penalty, Rodgers added "Looking at it you can see why the referee thinks it hit Tatey's shoulder.  I suspect they werent 100% sure which is why they haven't given it but I can see where Simon (Grayson) is coming from.

"The message is very simple.  We have been playing like this for a big part of the year.  What we showed is that we can handle pressure.   it is very tight at this time of season at that is important.  We will play the same and it always suits football teams at this part of the season.

"We've got twelve to go and we need to keep winning games.  I understand and respect there are big clubs in this league but we are happy to carry on with our work and the position will help with our self belief and confidence.

"Whoever is in front we will chase."
