No sooner had Dele Adebola gone to Wrexham, when Keith Hill swooped for his replacement - Ian Henderson on a free transfer from Colchester United.

Henderson left the Colchester Community Stadium outfit at the end of last month, when he was released from his contract - ironically in the same way that fellow new recruit Michael Rose.

The 28 year old is a forward player who is equally comfortable up front or further out on the right comes to Dale on a deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the season. 

He has scored twenty one goals over the past two seasons for the U's.
