Transfer deadline day is finally upon us and for Middlesbrough it looks like it could be a busy one.

The Teessiders have already completed the signings of Jordan Archer on a free transfer, before also signing Yannick Bolasie and Darnell Fisher in the last few days.

But there's every chance that there's more incomings and outgoings on the horizon.

Here are the players who could be on the move in the final hours of the window.

Incomings

Famara Diedhiou

The Bristol City striker looks like he's going play a big role on deadline day.

Out of contract in the summer and yet to sign a new deal at Ashton Gate, Middlesbrough are certainly in the mix to bring the powerful striker to the Riverside Stadium.

The Robins don't want to lose the player and so it'll be up to Neil Warnock to not only convince Bristol City to sell, but convince the striker that his future should be in Teesside.

Kamil Grosicki

A familiar link that has emerged again in recent days.

The West Brom winger is way down the pecking order at the Hawthorns and looks a dead cert to move on before the deadline.

Nottingham Forest have been linked earlier in the window and it'll be interesting to see if Boro's reported interest heightens as they look for more options in wide areas.

Lukas Jutkiewicz

The former Middlesbrough striker is another who has been linked with a move.

Now at Birmingham City under Aitor Karanka, Jutkiewicz faces an uncertain future after the Blues signed Sam Cosgrove from Aberdeen over the weekend.

A number of Championship clubs will be chasing him but perhaps a move back to Teesside will appeal for the powerful frontman.

Outgoings

Britt Assombalonga

The striker continues to divide opinion among supporters but perhaps not for much longer.

Assombalonga is out of contract in the summer which means that this is Middlesbrough's last chance to recoup a fee for the player.

The club's highest-earner, the striker has been linked with a £2million move to Bristol City and so a move appears likely before the deadline.

Patrick Roberts

The loan man just hasn't found his feet under Neil Warnock.

First team opportunities have been hard to come by and so if the chance to move on materialises then it's bound to be appealing.

Middlesbrough are unlikely to stand in his way and so it'll be interesting to see if another loan move materialises for the 23-year-old.

Lewis Wing

A player who has really struggled to make an impact under Neil Warnock.

Lewis Wing is a very talented player but given that his career has hit something of a brick wall, there's every chance that he could be allowed to move on.

Interest has been limited so far in January but reports have claimed that he could be allowed to leave the club on loan if an offer is made on deadline day.

Hayden Coulson
Another player who could be allowed to leave the club on loan if an offer is made on deadline day.

The full-back has struggled to establish himself under Neil Warnock and could benefit from a short-term switch before the 11pm cutoff.

Djed Spence

A player with undoubted potential, but someone who has found things tough of late.

Some supporters are calling for the club to sell Spence - a verdict which makes little sense.

Perhaps a loan move could be on the cards for the 20-year-old as he looks to build on his experience, but at the same time it won't e a surprise to see him stay given his continued involvement in the first team.

Lewis Wing

A player who has really struggled to make an impact under Neil Warnock.

Lewis Wing is a very talented player but given that his career has hit something of a brick wall, there's every chance that he could be allowed to move on.

Interest has been limited so far in January but if a club comes knocking then there's every chance that Middlesbrough will entertain offers.

Sam Folarin

A loan move certainly looks to be on the cards for the winger.

Folarin has enjoyed a handful of first team opportunities this term, but like Isaiah Jones, he needs first team football if he's to continue developing.

A short-term switch to League One, League Two or Scotland seem the most likely options.

Nathan Wood

A loan move seems unlikely given his involvement of late, but never say never.

The centre-back needs first team football and with Grant Hall returning from injury and Darnell Fisher joining the club, those chances could now be limited.

Wood will get chances if he sticks around, but if opportunities are limited then he could be allowed to head out to get a consistent run of games.

Hayden Hackney

Another young player who could be heading out on loan.

The midfielder showed in the FA Cup that he has undoubted potential, but with stiff competition in the middle of the park it's likely that he'll be largely limited to under-23s football.

Hackney is still incredibly young and so playing development football isn't out of the question, but there's no doubt that he's good enough to be playing regularly further down the pyramid.
