SKYSPORTS report that Leeds have taken Spurs youngster JACQUES MAGHOMA on trial.

The attacking 20-year-old midfielder, yet another midfielder! will apparently be given a run-out in a reserve team game with Hartlepool tomorrow (Tuesday).

At the time of writing, Leeds have yet to release any details regarding the move, so we will have to wait and see whether the trial is with a view to a permanent move or a loan-period.

From the limited amount of info we can glean on Maghoma, he is French but a product of the Spurs academy. He was injured for most of last season, making just nine reserve appearances, he plays wide-right and from the stats I have seen on a BBC website - he has yet to make the first-team of the rock-bottom Premiership giants.

Therefore he is very much an unknown quantity! What is known is, we seem to have an abundance of midfielders at the club of late and if Maghoma does arrive in any capacity, surely there will be question marks over the likes of Peter Sweeney, Brad Johnson etc.
