5 vouchers, £10 entry, 1 Super Fan

Right, if you went to the Wycombe game at the weekend, then you'll have been given your book of vouchers for this weekend's Chesterfield game. So what happens now?

Well there's two ways we can look at this.

We've covered the Super Fan side of things aplenty. If you can be the supporter who can entice the most fans through the turnstiles this weekend, then you're in for the most unique prize offered by any football club in the world ever.

But if you don't think you can challenge for that, perhaps most of your friends are Dale fans anyway, what's the point of taking part if you're not going to win?

Well the point is that most of us won't win. But the ultimate aim for this isn't to find out who will be our Super Fan. Yes, it's a great incentive for Dale supporters to do their bit, but ultimately the biggest prize will be seeing as many people as possible through the turnstiles this weekend.

If we can hit a crowd of 5000, it will be one of the biggest League crowds of the past thirty years, and its very much an achievable figure to aim for. But we're not going to hit 5,000 just on the basis of three or four people competing to win the prize.

We'll hit the 5,000, by as many of us as possible taking part. It's been quoted many a time on the messageboard, but if we can all just use one voucher, and bring along a new supporter, we'll double the crowd and hit the 5,000 easily.

It doesn't matter whether you can only fetch three or four supporters. Well it does matter, because that will be you doing your bit. Who cares if you're not going to win the prize, you're doing your bit to help boost Dale's crowd.

I know it's perhaps a little bit more difficult to convince the non believers to come along on the back of a poor run of form at home, but that should not mean that we simply hold up our hands and give up. It means we have to double our efforts, bend the truth if necessary, and do what you can to get people to come.

And if just ten per cent of those who come along decide that they like what they see, and start attending regularly at Spotland, that could be worth up to a hundred grand a year difference to the club's finances. What a difference that'd make next time its transfer window time.

If you need more vouchers, then head to the club and ask for more. Despite the extremely high demand for the voucher booklets, there are still some remaining at Spotland.

So get thinking ...... which five people could you persuade to come to Spotland who might not ordinarily be going to this game? Give them a ring or a text, and convince them that at 3pm this Saturday, they'll be at Spotland cheering on the Dale.
