Darren Pratley insists that the home draw against Fulham gives the Swans the chance to be giant killers again
The Swansea City midfielder will come face to face with his previous employers next month when Fulham visit the Liberty for the 5th Round tie.
Pratley joined the Swans from Fulham two and a half years ago and will line up as one of the leading contenders for player of the season at this very special time for the Swans.
Pratley's engine was too much for Portsmouth on Saturday as he put in another top class peformance - a feat he will want to repeat on Valentine's weekend as the Swans bid for a quarter final place.
Speaking to the Evening Post, Pratley said ''We can be giant-killers again.
''I'm buzzing, It should be a cracking tie and it's great for us to be at home.
''We had great support at Portsmouth and it's nice for the fans that we've got the reward of a home tie.
''Fulham are having a good season in the Premier League and they are a quality side, but we've beaten the team who won the cup last year and we'll fancy our chances again.
''It's going to be tough, of course, but it won't be easy for them coming to the Liberty.
''They'll have no problems with the pitch or the facilities because our ground is Premier League standard.
''But I know from coming here with Brentford in the play-offs a few years ago how intimidating the Liberty can be for the opposition side when there's a big crowd in.
''I'm sure the atmosphere will be great and it should be a great cup tie.
''You never know what could happen if we reach the last eight, but we'll have to come through a tough test against Fulham before we start thinking about that.''
