The Swans are often seen as a leading light when it comes to the way that football clubs are run and this week was no difference as they announced that tickets for all their away games this season will cost our travelling fans no more than £22.
We have continually - over the past 13 years - made decisions that go against the normal grain of a football club and in our four years in the Premier League have been hailed around the world as a model that should be followed by others.
This week's announcement will hopefully be one that other clubs will follow but it is not just the fans who are backing the gesture as a brilliant one, it has been noticed by former players as well.
