Pat 'Rio' Baldwin has committed his future to the U's by signing a new contract.
"I agreed to sign a few weeks ago now and it has just been a case of ironing out the final details," Baldwin told the club's website.
"I think we've got a great squad of players here and I am raring to go this season."
Having been with United for eight years now, Baldwin's new deal is at least two years and he will be entitled to a testimonial in 2011.
Chief Exec Steve Bradshaw confirmed: "As part of Pat's new contract, there is an agreement to offer him a testimonial. The club feel it is the right thing to do for players like Pat, who has represented the club so well since joining us from Chelsea."
