The old Nemesis returns to Carrow Road tomorrow evening (KO 7.45pm) in the shape of Crystal Palace. The side against who we always think we will do well then end up with egg on our faces.

On the playing side, Neil Warnock jumped ship as manager when the financial buckle started to bite, further dusrupting players who really didn't know whether ot not they would have a job the following week.
Then, to get to a quarter of the way through this season, after doing so well despite the ten point deficit, to sit second from bottom in the table, then it is fair to say that the signs are definitely positive for Norwich City. Although, the times we have believed that in the past.
Defensive reshuffles are inevitable with both teams. Norwich will lose out on Elliot Ward's services, who will sit out a one match suspension for picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
Die hard Adam Drury is also likely to miss out, according to Paul Lambert, who told reporters that Drury had a calf problem and was "doubtful" for Tuesday.
Crystal Palace will be without the services of central defender Claude Davis, who now faces a four match ban for his second red of the season. On loan striker (Everton) James Vaughan will be available, returning from his red card match ban.
Norwich's Wes Hoolahan will be back in front of the home supporters after his penalty miss on Saturday. The hope is that the crowd will get behind him to restore his confidence, unlike one person that sent a text message to BBC Radio Norfolk after the match, demanding that Hoolahan be punished for "costing us the game"
This is a game to relish and a game where the expectancy is to see us still in third position on Wednesday morning.
