Midlands mascots make Spotland charity visit Thursday, 10th Jul 2008 14:19 Four mascots from teams based in the West Midlands will be joining the 92 Club as they attempt to visit all 92 professional clubs in the space of six days to raise much needs funds for the County Air Ambulance. There are two mascots from West Brom, one from Walsall and another from Wolves, and come August, they'll be heading up and down the country dressed in full mascot regalia in a bid to raise £5,000. The decision to do the sponsored event came after a close friend of one of the West Brom mascots was killed in a road traffic accident earlier this year. The County Air Ambulance was involved and allowed the young lady some last moments with her family - something which would not have been possible had they not been involved. The County Air Ambulance is funded purely through public donations, and as you can imagine, there's never the money that they wish they had. Sponsoring the mascots is quick, easy and totally
secure. Just follow this link to donate - http://www.justgiving.com/mascotsontour. The
other advantages to online sponsorship are that the County Air
Ambulance Trust gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer,
Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added
to your donation. Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
