Another Struggling Side Saves Day At Carrow Road
Another Struggling Side Saves Day At Carrow Road

No need to enumerate the sides again; Preston North End were there for the taking and Norwich City looked totally disinterested. If Preston hadn't opened the scoring the game had no score-draw written all over it.

A couple of weeks ago Grant Holt complains that the team is being booed; the team was booed again on Saturday. First of all, let's get one thing clear. It is the same crowd that cheers you on that turns to booing you off. That is fact.

They/we are not booing you for the season's performance so far, it is for the apparent lack of effort when you take to the grass at Carrow Road.

It isn't as though you cannot do the business at home, look at the Ipswich performance. It is the way everything takes on an air of arrogance, that you think you are too good to even try to play and entertain the home crowd.

After an away game you all parade in front of the tyravelling supporters and remarks that have been reported in the press lends us to think that you consider the away supporters the "loyal" ones.

That Hoolahan effort summed up the apparent attitude for many. That shot is best not even thought about, but it was the crowning moment of a game that lacked the same mentality that graces the away game.

If the players or manager wants to remind the supporters of where we have come from in so short a time, then allow the supporters to remind them just HOW they managed to come so far so quickly, and ask WHY only the away supporters get entertainment on a par with last season's successes.

True, we are still in the mix, but that is because of the other teams around us. Once more we spurned th opportunity to make headway on those around us.
