Keeper David Stockdale has called on supporters of Town and fans in general to back striker Michael Chopra in his battle to overcome his gambling problems. Chopra is back training at Portman Road with the rest of the Blues squad after three weeks in the Sporting Chance Clinic in Hampshire.

Stockdale tweeted: “Hope the Ipswich fans and all fans can support a player with an illness and help the guy. Proud of him for standing up and getting help!”

Boss Paul Jewell has confirmed that Chopra will definitely be playing for his side at Millwall on Saturday.
